Recruitment Process – Training & Placement Cell

The Recruitment Process at Southeast Global SkillVarsity (SGSV) is carefully structured to prepare students for a smooth transition from academic life to professional careers. Our systematic placement framework ensures transparency, readiness, and strong industry collaboration.

1. Registration

• Mandatory Registration: All final-year students must register with the Training & Placement Cell before participating in campus recruitment drives.
• No Registration Fee: The registration process is completely free of charge.

2. Campus Drive Schedule

• Bi-Annual Placement Drives: SGSV conducts campus recruitment drives twice every academic year.
• First Phase: September to November.
• Second Phase: March to May.

3. Coordination with Companies

• Industry Outreach: The Placement Cell actively connects with national and international organizations to understand their recruitment requirements and job roles.
• Scheduling: Recruitment dates and drive formats are finalized based on mutual coordination between SGSV and participating companies.

4. Student Notification & Preparation

• Eligibility Communication: Eligible and interested students are informed in advance about upcoming placement opportunities.
• Job Profile Briefing: Detailed information about company criteria, job roles, and expectations is shared to ensure clarity and preparation.

5. Pre-Placement Training Activities

• Mock Interviews: Conducted to enhance confidence and improve interview performance.
• Group Discussions: Sessions designed to strengthen communication, articulation, and analytical thinking skills.
• Aptitude Test Preparation: Training programs and practice tests to help students succeed in written examinations that are part of recruitment processes.

6. Placement Day Facilities

• Infrastructure Support: The Placement Committee provides well-equipped rooms with LCD projectors, presentation facilities, and necessary amenities to ensure smooth recruitment operations.
